Description:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Powertrain Testing - Lab Operations function at the TMNA R&D Michigan site.
Reporting to the Manager of Operations Central Lab Ops, the person in this role will support the Powertrain Testing department's objective to ensure testing readiness.
What you ll be doing
Test Execution: engine, powertrain, or vehicle chassis dynamometers and emission analyzers.
Compliance Validation: Verify test results against Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and certification procedures (such as FTP, HWFE, and US06).
Data Analysis: Analyze emission outputs, particulate matter (PM), and fuel economy data to optimize engine performance.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment or vehicle anomalies in controlled test cells and environmental chambers
Support on site teams to ensure facilities are supporting current and new R&D activities.

Requirements:
What you bring
Education: A bachelor s degree in engineering.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of propulsion systems, CFR Emission Testing Requirements,
Software/Tools: Proficiency with data acquisition tools (Panel 4, ETAS or Hioki) and modeling platforms
What you may bring
