Job Summary
The RFP Specialist plays a key role within the Asset Management business by supporting client acquisition and retention efforts. This position is responsible for creating, editing, and customizing high-quality responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and consultant database updates. The role requires a strong understanding of investment products, asset classes, and investment strategies, along with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and client-focused materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, editing, and customization of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and consultant database submissions for institutional clients and prospects.
- Tailor responses to client requirements while highlighting the firm's investment capabilities across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and multi-asset solutions.
- Maintain and update the centralized content library, ensuring information is accurate, compliant, and consistent.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Product Strategists, Sales, Client Relationship Managers, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Marketing to gather and validate information.
- Manage multiple proposal projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
- Translate complex investment concepts into clear, concise, and persuasive client-facing content.
- Conduct quality reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammatical correctness, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset management, investment consulting, institutional sales support, or proposal/RFP writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RFP automation tools such as Qvidian, Loopio, or PMAPS.
- Understanding of investment products, asset classes, financial markets, and investment strategies.
- Familiarity with institutional clients, including public and corporate pensions, endowments, foundations, and sovereign wealth funds
