What Youll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care for CVICU patients with complex cardiac conditions
- Monitor patient status using telemetry, ventilators, and Swan-Ganz catheters
- Administer medications including conscious sedation and balloon pumps
- Start IVs, manage PA lines, and operate advanced cardiac equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Float within units of similar acuity as needed
What You Need
- Ohio RN license (active)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac ICU experience preferred
- Strong skills in IV start, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, and conscious sedation
- Previous Epic experience and travel ICU experience preferred
