Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team on a night-shift travel assignment. The selected nurse will provide specialized care to critically ill cardiovascular patients, collaborating closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients.
Monitor patients closely and recognize changes in clinical condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
Manage and monitor advanced cardiac and hemodynamic equipment.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status.
Promote patient safety and adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection-control standards.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Recent critical-care/CVICU nursing experience.
Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Availability for night-shift assignments.
Travel nursing experience preferred.
