Pay Range: $50 - $58/hour. Traveler benefits as per agency package. (Benefits vary by vendor and assignment.)Key Responsibilities:- Cvent Administration & Platform Governance
- Serve as the senior subject matter expert for Cvent administration.
- Manage day-to-day Cvent platform administration, maintenance, and operational health.
- Maintain account architecture, configurations, user access, permissions, workflows, templates, and reporting structures.
- Establish and maintain standards for Cvent configuration, data, reporting, access, and platform usage.
- Review configuration and access requests and identify exceptions or items requiring escalation.
- Maintain governance decisions, configuration records, approved exceptions, and operational controls.
- Identify recurring platform issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Cvent Configuration & Support
- Configure and maintain Cvent account settings, workflows, templates, forms, fields, libraries, and platform features.
- Create and maintain event, registration, budget, survey, Meeting Request Form, process, and reporting templates.
- Execute approved platform configuration changes.
- Perform testing and validation before production release.
- Troubleshoot complex Cvent configuration and platform issues.
- Work with Cvent Support and internal technology teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor configuration consistency and recommend improvements.
- Reporting & Data Quality
- Build, maintain, test, and update Cvent reports and reporting templates.
- Maintain reporting standards, naming conventions, field usage, and metric definitions.
- Validate report logic and data accuracy.
- Perform recurring data-quality reviews.
- Identify and investigate incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or nonstandard data.
- Determine root causes and implement or recommend corrective actions.
- Support operational, governance, audit, and leadership reporting.
- Compliance & Access Controls
- Apply approved compliance, privacy, security, Finance, IT, Procurement, and records-management requirements to Cvent administration.
- Manage appropriate user access, permissions, and data visibility.
- Support audits, control reviews, agency reviews, and information requests.
- Identify and escalate compliance, privacy, security, data-sharing, and governance risks.
- Document and route nonstandard requests and exceptions appropriately.
- Training & Documentation
- Develop and deliver Cvent onboarding and role-based training.
- Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, FAQs, administrator guides, and knowledge-base materials.
- Support onboarding of new users, business teams, agency partners, and Cvent Champions.
- Maintain current configuration and process documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform adoption, usability, data quality, and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Cvent Account Administrator Certification – Required
- Cvent System Administrator Certification – Required
- Significant hands-on experience administering Cvent.
- Experience working with Cvent in a complex enterprise or highly regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Cvent account architecture
- Cvent configuration
- User administration
- Roles and permissions
- Workflows
- Templates and forms
- Custom fields
- Cvent reporting
- Data validation and data quality
- Troubleshooting
- Testing and change execution
- Cvent integrations
- Experience with reporting standardization, documentation, governance, and audit-ready processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to influence and enforce standards without direct authority.
- CMP – Certified Meeting Professional
- 5+ years of experience in Cvent administration, event technology, or meetings technology.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, biotech, or another highly regulated environment.
- Knowledge of meetings and events operations.
- Experience delivering Cvent training and onboarding.
- Experience supporting agency or vendor users in an enterprise Cvent environment.
- Experience with process standardization, change adoption, and continuous improvement.
