Job Overview
Fairview Health Services is hiring a Cardiovascular Electrophysiology (CV/EP) Technician to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank location in Minneapolis, MN. We're offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus!
The University of Minnesota Medical Center - East Bank is a leading academic heart center specializing in advanced catheter‑based and structural heart procedures, performed by a collaborative team of interventional cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, imaging specialists, and researchers. As a CV/EP Tech, you will support complex cardiac interventions within a high‑acuity environment and work closely with integrated cardiovascular units and advanced imaging services across the East Bank campus to care for patients with diverse heart and circulatory conditions.The technician will assist with these procedures while providing diagnostic testing, collecting and assessing data, performing the scrub role, and assisting the cardiologist.
Schedule: This is a full‑time position (1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two‑week pay period) with 10‑hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The role includes rotating weekend call approximately every fourth weekend, with call beginning at 6:00 PM on Friday and ending at 7:30 AM on Monday. 30 minute response time for call. Scheduling may vary based on staffing needs.
