Description
This position will help in the production of high quality, cubical curtain and tracking systems.
Primary Duties:
Unrolls and spreads fabric in layers on tables
Arrange patterns on fabric and mark outlines of patterns
Sets and operates cutting machines
Labels and ties bundles of parts
Drills holes through layers of fabric or cuts notches in edges
Operates automatic machines that use computerized patterns
Cuts fabric using an electric hand cutter
May mark and cut cloth, and fabric into pieces to be used in trimming
Perform quality checks of parts after they are produced
Perform with implementing color changes as required
Clean up scrap produced by the molding machines
Make up hardware packages to be packed into boxed products
Grind all runners and poorly produced parts
Complete quality checks and related paperwork as necessary
Perform general clean up of department at shift end
All other duties as assigned

Job Specifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to take directions and work well as a team or independently
