Pay: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Penmac Staffing is seeking a dependable, experienced cutter for a manufacturing client. In this hands-on manufacturing role, you will help fabricate quality glass and related materials while supporting a safe, efficient production environment. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering high-quality work.Requirements
- Experience in glass cutting, assembly line operations, or a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Ability to perform frequent bending, twisting, squatting, pulling, and lifting
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Familiarity with press operations and tooling concepts preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous warehouse, packaging, or production experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Cut and fabricate glass and related materials according to production specifications
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy
- Assist with assembly, packaging, and material handling activities as needed
- Follow established safety procedures and work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and communicate maintenance concerns when needed
- Support production goals while maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Complete other duties as assigned
