Cutter Operator

Start your new career as a Cutter & Forklift Operator with MAU at Milliken Live Oak in LaGrange, GA. As a Cutter & Forklift Operator, you'll run specialized cutting machinery to process carpet and textile materials to production specifications while meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

What We Offer:

• Starting pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

• 1st shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• 3rd shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Voluntary overtime

What We're Looking For:

• Previous machine operator or manufacturing experience

• Ability to operate a forklift

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift

• Willingness to work 10 to12-hour shifts

• Ability to follow safety guidelines, work instructions, and company policies

• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Must pass a background check and drug screen

What You'll Do as a Cutter & Forklift Operator:

• Set up and run cutting equipment to meet production requirements

• Load and position materials for accurate cuts

• Drive a forklift to move materials throughout the facility

• Run sample cuts and check machine settings before production

• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot basic operating issues

• Perform routine machine maintenance and replace components as needed

• Inspect finished materials to make sure they meet quality standards

• Keep material waste low and production output accurate

• Follow all safety procedures and keep your work area clean
