Sayre offers two options for 1st shift: 4- 10 hour days, Monday-Thursday, 6AM-4:30PM OR 5- 8 hour days, Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM. JOB TITLE: Cutter / Laminator Operator DEPARTMENT: Cut/LaminateDepartment REPORTS TO: Cut/Laminate Department Supervisor HOURLY RATE: $15.25 SUMMARY: Performs manual labor in a production environment to cut, trim, laminate and perform final inspection of items being processed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Work as part of a production team.
- Receive production work to be processed and keep track of daily production.
- Pick up, move, sort and place material or items on tables, racks or bins.
- Use manual and electric scissors, fabric cutter, die clicker, and manual hot blade cutter to cut patches and similar items.
- Cut material, vinyl, and use machinery to laminate items as part of production.
- Perform quality control to meet specifications of product.
- Pay attention to the quality of both the starting product and the finished product.
- Use heat gun to remove extraneous thread and material as part of quality control.
- Operate a lifting jack to move material bolts from shelf to table.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
