IDR is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Customs Entry Writer to join one of our top clients in Brentwood, TN. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Customs Entry Writer:
Manage ISF filings, ensuring required information is provided and filed timely
Receive and review documentation to input and transmit data for CBP release of shipments
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather any pending information necessary for customs clearance
Maintain and update maintenance tables in our GTM platform
Track and trace shipments and coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders and CFS on the availability of imported shipments
Required Skills for Customs Entry Writer:
1-3 years experience with entry writer position or International transportation coordinator
Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, logistics or transportation preferred
Solid knowledge of air freight, FCL, LCL, and Consolidations for import transportation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software especially Excel and Access
Knowledge of INCO terms, the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, Customs regulations and other government agency requirements (FDA, EPA, DOT, USDA, etc.)
