At Kirby Risk Electrical Supply, our Customer Service Supervisors play a critical role in driving branch success through customer service, employee development, operational effectiveness, and collaborative leadership.
What You'll Do as a Customer Service Supervisor
You'll:
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement that encourages growth and continuous improvementMonitor branch scheduling to ensure adequate staffing for daily operational needsSelect, train, mentor, coach, and conduct performance reviews to promote employee developmentPartner with branch leadership on employee selection, onboarding, and assimilation in the branch cultureCreate and cultivate relationships with other branches, departments, customers, and vendors to drive collaboration and support branch successProactively resolve customer issues by identifying solutions and coordinating appropriate resources to minimize disruptions and maintain customer confidenceManage all branch operations including Sales Support, Warehouse, Counter, Inside Sales, and Delivery Drivers to maintain continuity and operational effectivenessGuarantee the customer counter experience by following planogram standards and maintaining displays, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional customer-facing environmentPromote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety practices and procedures
What Makes You a Great Fit
High School Diploma/GED5+ years of relevant work experience in wholesale industry3+ years of strong interpersonal leadership and customer contact skillsKnowledge of electrical products and their applicationsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsCommitted to best practices for leadership competencies, people development, and learningDetail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitiesAbility to lead by example, promote morale, goal setting and demonstrate teamworkComputer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office
What to Expect in This Role
Ability to push, pull, carry, lift up to 50 lbs.Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of timeBend, stoop, twist, reach, pinch, grab, and shift positions frequentlyTalk or hear both in person and by telephoneAbility to adjust focus, close vision, discern parts numbers, and signageForklift experience is a plusOccasional travel requiredSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm, with overtime as needed
