Summary:

We’re seeking an ambitious, hardworking and friendly Customer Service Sales Representative to be part of our growing team! Our agency prides themselves in providing top level customer service. This position will be responsible for assisting the Personal Lines team through customer support tasks.

 

Customer Service Sales Representative Duties:

  • Assist with inbound customer calls
  • Assist clients to resolve general service inquiries as needed
  • Follow-up with existing and potential clients
  • Review billing questions with clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Understand basic product, billing and processing guidelines
  • Handling service requests, processing necessary paperwork, and answering incoming calls

  • Research and identify timely solutions to client-related problems
  • Have solid computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback to client’s inquiries on existing policies with regards to policy amendments, billing, claims and upcoming renewals.
  • Participate in the renewal cycle from start to finish; gather update account information, compilesubmissions and secure renewal quotes.
  • Must be passionate about Consultative SALES and building customer relationships!
  • Proactively identify and act on cross-sell opportunities
  • Prospect and generate new business through leads and referrals



Customer Service Representative /Producer Qualification:

  • Property & Causality and/or Life & Health License (must have or be able to obtained within 45 days)
  • Previous sales experience (With Farmers Insurance a plus)
  • Confident, self-starter who works independently



Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
