    Customer Service Representatives

    This position provides outstanding customer service and administrative support to all programs (and their students!) at Continuing Education, University Connected Learning at the University of Utah.     Responsibilities

    Customer Service Representative, II

    • Assist internal and external customers via phone, email, and in-person with questions about enrollments,
    • payments, refunds and general class information: 35%
    • Prepare and reconcile daily, weekly, and quarterly auditing reports on enrollments and payments: 15%
    • Receive and post student and departmental payments: 15%
    • Attend meetings to embed with programs, receive training, and stay updated on University issues: 5%
    • Perform data entry related to enrolling, dropping and transferring students in noncredit classes: 20%
    • Miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned: 10%

    Minimum Qualifications

    EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

    Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:

    Customer Service Representative, I: Requires little to no related experience.

    Customer Service Representative, II: Requires at least 1 year of related experience.

    Preferences

    Strong attention to detail; ability to respect confidentiality of sensitive records and maintain professionalism and neutrality; interest in performing and optimizing support functions within larger organizations.
