Your Day to Day

Customer-Focused Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries by phone.
• Listen carefully, show empathy, and provide clear, accurate resolutions.
• Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally.
• Create a positive customer experience with every interaction.

Problem-Solving & Ownership

• Use critical thinking to troubleshoot issues and offer solutions.
• Approve adjustments, returns, or other resolutions within company guidelines.
• Follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Take ownership of the customer experience from start to finish.

Service with Integrity

• Represent Williams-Sonoma, Inc. with honesty, care, and professionalism.
• Protect customer information and follow company policies.
• Stay current on product updates, procedures, and service expectations.

Collaboration & Growth

• Work closely with team members and leadership.
• Participate in ongoing training and coaching.
• Share feedback that helps improve the customer and associate experience.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of customer service experience preferred, including retail, call center, hospitality, or related experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to de-escalate concerns professionally.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly and adapt.
• Integrity, reliability, and accountability.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with performance goals.
• Tech-savvy candidates who can navigate multiple systems and multitask efficiently.

Work-From-Home Technology Requirements

You must provide your own qualifying equipment and reliable internet connection.

Required Computer Setup

• Desktop, all-in-one computer, or traditional laptop.
• Windows 11 Home, Windows 11 Pro, or Windows 11 Pro for Workstations.
• Minimum 6 GB of RAM; 8 GB or more recommended.
• Minimum screen resolution of 1920 × 1080.
• Google Chrome.
• Current antivirus protection.
• Enough available storage to install required systems.
• Windows 10 and older operating systems are not supported.
• Windows Education, Enterprise, and Insider editions are not supported.
• Chromebooks, tablets, Microsoft Surface devices, Steam Decks, and mobile phones are not accepted as primary work devices.

Required Equipment

• External mouse.
• Keyboard.
• Webcam.
• Wired USB headset.
• Wireless and Bluetooth headsets are not supported.
• Recommended headset models include the Jabra Evolve 20 UC and Logitech H390.
