Customer Service Representative

FASTSIGNS of Surprise is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our sales team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced team.

About the Position

In this role, you will be responsible for sales activities within the shop and serve as the first point of contact for walk-in, email, and telephone customers.

You will prepare estimates and work orders, follow projects from start to finish, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in customers, identify their needs, and make recommendations
  
• Estimate projects ranging from business cards, decals, and banners to large-scale projects such as monument signage and illuminated building signs
  
• Work with customers via email and phone throughout all stages of their projects
  
• Coordinate with outside resources and vendors when projects need to be outsourced
  
• Answer incoming phone calls
  
• Follow up on company lead emails
  
• Process payments and invoices
  
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and changes to the production schedule
  
• Maintain an attractive, clean, organized, and functional retail environment
  
• Estimate projects and follow them from start to finish while providing exemplary customer service
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
  
• Excellent customer service and people skills
  
• 2–3 years of retail experience, preferably in a sign or fabrication shop
  
• Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  
• Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks and projects
  
• Proficient computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
  
• Basic math skills
