Customer Service Representative - Somerset Crossing Branch

Summary

Here at Somerset Trust Company, we seek applicants who are friendly, reliable, and wants to provide excellent customer service. This position involves notifying and/or locating customers with delinquent Consumer accounts, and attempts to secure payment by following the proper and necessary procedures.

essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Reports to Assistant Manager or Branch Manager
• Serve as a backup to the Assistant Manager
• Open new accounts and perform account maintenance
• Collect and organize required information for consumer loan applications for processing by management
• Perform all Teller duties as needed
• Handle and escalate customer concerns beyond Teller-level responsibilities
• Adhere to the company's WE Statements and customer service standards

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Displays an eagerness & ability to learn, efficiently use the technology provided, and is receptive to new ideas.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problem involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
