    Customer Service Representative 
    Department: Customer Service
    Location: Salt Lake City, UT
    Type: Full-time
     
    Summary:
    The Customer Service Representative will provide ideal customer service and assist with scheduling by communicating with customers and other internal departments and following through on every aspect of the order. 
     
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:
    • Receives customer purchase orders, provides confirmation to the customer, coordinates all purchase order details, enters orders into the database, and provides periodic open order reports to customers
    • After product is produced, send customer retains in a timely manner for assigned customers
    • Coordinate shipment of orders by being a liaison between the warehouse and the customer, secure freight rates for PPA customers, print packing slips and BOL’s
    • Acknowledge incoming customer calls and email inquiries immediately and provide answers or ETA for the same NLT end of day. Coordinate answers on shipping and tracking details, credits, schedule related updates, cancellation, adjustments, COA’s and testing release updates
    • Works with assigned Salesperson(s) to help analyze customer sales reports on an ongoing basis, to recognize buying patterns by product as requested;
    • Assist accounting in resolving unpaid invoices
    • Assist in necessary rework processing when product is to be returned
    • Work closely with Prinova Account Manager to satisfy customers' needs as deemed necessary;
    • Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs
    • Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

    Required Education and/or Experience:
    • High School Diploma with some college preferred
    • 2-4 years customer service/inside sales experience in the nutraceutical industry is a plus
    Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Strong English language skills (speaking, reading, and writing)
    • Strong computer skills
    • Professional written and oral communication skills
    • Must exude high energy and professionalism
    • Driven to provide unequaled client service
    • Self-starter 
    • Ability to work in a detail-oriented work environment
    • Ability to work in a fast and sometimes stressful work environment.
    Work Conditions & Physical Requirements:
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
    • Work environment is normally in an office setting. Must be able to make frequent rounds in a warehouse environment.
    • Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours
    • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
    • Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas
    • Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
