Customer Service Representative

A respected, community-focused insurance agency is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Commercial Lines team. This role supports new business, renewals, and daily client service while ensuring accurate policy management. If you are organized, client-focused, and experienced in insurance, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

New Business Support

• Manage incoming commercial insurance leads

• Gather underwriting info and required documents

• Prepare applications, proposals, and quote requests

Client Service

• Respond to client calls and emails

• Process endorsements and policy changes

• Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs)

• Assist with billing questions and basic claims support

Renewal Support

• Collect renewal documents

• Update applications for remarketing

• Schedule renewal review meetings

Administrative

• Maintain accurate records in the agency management system

• Ensure documents meet compliance standards

What You Need

• 1-2+ years of insurance experience (Commercial Lines preferred)

• Active 4-40 or 2-20 license (or willing to obtain)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and stay organized

• Experience with COIs, endorsements, and carrier communication

• Familiarity with systems like Nexsure (or similar)

Nice to Have

• Commercial Lines experience

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

• Knowledge of GL, WC, BOP, Property, Auto, and Umbrella.
