Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Administration Building - 1000 E Grand Ave, Des Moines IA 50319

Pay Rate: $16/hr on W2

Answering calls on the customer service line. This includes assisting customers with questions on their unemployment insurance claim, troubleshooting issues, taking statements, resetting passwords and submitting requests on the customers behalf by accessing IWD's database. Classroom and hands-on training will be provided for all candidates. IWD received approximately 3000 calls per week on average. During the winter months calls can increase to 6500 calls per week. Must be proficient in basic computer skills including typing, verbal communication through computer-based platforms, and using Microsoft Outlook for email
