Description

The Customer Service Representative is tasked with overseeing the documentation and registration processes for automotive transactions. This position focuses on ensuring precise, prompt, and compliant management of documents for sales, leases, financing, and transfers, adhering to regulations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and process documentation for sales, leases, fleet transactions, and financing agreements.
  • Prepare, review, and submit documents to relevant state agencies.
  • Ensure accurate recording, releases, and transfers of documents for vehicles.
  • Verify vehicle details, including identification numbers and ownership history.
  • Resolve discrepancies, missing documentation, and compliance issues.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including dealerships and internal representatives.
  • Track document status and maintain organized records for high-volume transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies related to documentation and registration.
  • Support audits by maintaining accurate documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Meet processing deadlines to avoid penalties, delays, or disruptions.

Requirements

Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-state registration requirements.
  • Experience with commercial or fleet vehicle documentation preferred.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to complete assessments and pass background checks, physicals, and screenings.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in related fields.
  • Experience with sales, leasing, or financing of vehicles.
  • Familiarity with lienholders and related documentation.
  • Knowledge of state-specific regulations and tax requirements.
  • Experience with third-party services.
  • Experience with data analysis and customer relationship management tools preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Abilities

  • Fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Requires frequent sitting, standing, and manual dexterity for office equipment operation.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and analyze data.
  • Normal range of hearing and vision required.
