Job Functions

Provide world-class customer service to our customers. Build strong relationships with customers and co-workers that are based on trust and respect. Process customer orders and respond to all inquiries from customers and sales force. Interact with customers to provide information about products, order status, shipping information, etc. Support Sales and customers with an appropriate sense of urgency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Process and confirm orders by phone, fax, or email into the AS400 system. Serves as primary contact for intricate/specialty orders. Resolves issues on mostly routine but some more complex orders. Manage and update the database with relevant notes. Communicate solutions or requested information to the customer and/or TM. Be able to work effectively in a positive, fast-paced call center environment. Be an active supporter of team endeavors to make EF a high-performance workplace. Work with multiple departments to ensure orders are ready to ship in a timely manner. Provide customers and sales representatives with accurate information concerning inventory availability, order assignment, pricing, and shipping details as necessary. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, sales representatives, and coworkers.

Experience/Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a call center environment preferred. Working knowledge of AS400 and Microsoft Office. Be an active listener and read to understand email communications. Attained full proficiency in specific area of responsibility. Ability to type 45 WPM. Ability to prioritize and multi task Customer Service responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.

Other Requirements

Perform any other duties as assigned. Overtime is required on occasion.
