Job Summary
iStaffing is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Trucker Check-In Clerk for a busy warehouse in Rancho Domiguez, CA. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment while providing excellent customer service to drivers and warehouse personnel.
Responsibilities
- Check in and check out truck drivers upon arrival and departure.
- Verify shipping and receiving paperwork for accuracy.
- Enter driver and shipment information into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Schedule dock appointments and communicate with warehouse staff.
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers, carriers, and customers.
- Answer phones, emails, and assist with general office duties.
- Maintain accurate records and filing of shipping documents.
- Resolve discrepancies and communicate any issues to management.
- Follow company safety and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous CSR, logistics, transportation, or warehouse office experience preferred.
- Experience with truck check-in/check-out is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and data entry).
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
