    Ozarks Community Hospital (OCH), located in Carthage, MO, is seeking a Customer Service Representative; Receptionist to join our Carthage Clinic.

    Our Mission: Ozarks Community Hospital and clinics are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare and preventive services to all patients in an atmosphere of compassion, respect, and dignity, with a commitment to care for the underserved and to improve access to care.

    Under the direction of the Clinic Manager provides direct and indirect patient assistance and care in the office/clinic settings. Assists in development and orientation of new office / clinic staff. Assists in coordinating activities of the office /clinic. Assists with covering work schedules and assists to improve work flow. Keeps the providers informed of both progress and potential problems.

    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payors.
    • Successful work experience in a front office setting or in another clerical position.
    • Strong working knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles.
    • Ability to effectively use and maintain office equipment.
    • BLS or Friends and Family certification preferred.
    • Great organizational and multitasking abilities.
