Customer Service Representative
Location: Bessemer, AL (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
Max Pay Rate: $18.50
About the Role
We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to support customers, business partners, and drivers in a fast-paced delivery environment. You’ll help keep deliveries on track, resolve customer concerns, and coordinate order changes while delivering excellent service.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers and business partners by phone and email
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally
- Diagnose, assess, and resolve customer issues
- Monitor delivery routes and progress
- Scan haul-away pods and verify stamps
- Process delivery order changes and cancellations
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through
- Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and business partners
What You’ll Need
Required:
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of related customer service experience
- Previous call center experience
- Experience in delivery, transportation, or logistics
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and provide effective solutions
