About the Customer Service Representative Role


As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Waste Connections, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our customers and ensuring safety and service excellence for our drivers and our communities.


Key Responsibilities


+ Handle a high volume of incoming customer calls with professionalism and accuracy.

+ Process customer requests including new service setup, service changes, and service discontinuations.

+ Accept customer payments and assist with billing questions or account updates.

+ Collaborate with internal teams and customers to determine service needs and resolve issues.

+ Provide safe, cost‑effective, environmentally responsible solutions to customer service concerns.

+ Manage escalated customer calls.


What We’re Looking For


+ 1+ years of high‑volume customer service experience

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills

+ A proactive mindset and dedication to customer satisfaction

+ Ability to problem‑solve and work in a fast‑paced environment

+ Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
