Position Details

• Job Title: Customer Service Representative
• Job Type: W2 Contract – 6 months with potential to extend/convert
• Location: Remote – United States
• Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Nesting: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM for 3 weeks
• Work Hours: Sunday–Saturday, 6:00 AM–9:00 PM EST window
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Pay Rate: $17 - $18/hour
• Start Date: 11/02
• Time Off: No time off permitted during training or nesting (90 days)

 

Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative will provide telephone-based support to patients and community members who need to schedule appointments with healthcare providers. The role requires accurate data entry, use of EPIC software, adherence to established workflows, and excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional telephone-based customer service to patients and community members.
• Schedule medical appointments accurately using EPIC.
• Follow established workflow tools and processes.
• Enter and maintain patient information with a high level of accuracy.
• Meet assigned work schedules, attendance, and performance expectations.
• Collaborate with team members to support a positive and patient-focused work environment.

 

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience scheduling medical appointments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data-entry accuracy.
• Ability to consistently follow workflows, instructions, and schedules.
• Friendly, compassionate, and patient-focused communication style.
• Bilingual Spanish skills strongly preferred.
