Work Arrangement: Onsite Training → Remote After Training
Contract Length: 6 months (Extension possible based on performance, attendance, and business needs)

Training Schedule:- Mandatory Onsite Training & Nesting: 5 weeks training + 2 weeks nesting (total 7 weeks at Tampa office)
- Ongoing Work: Primarily remote after certification, with one office visit per month
- Hours After Training: 8-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–9 PM EST) with 30-minute lunch; schedules assigned via ranking system based on training performance
- No time off permitted during training & nesting
- If experiencing home internet/system issues, employees must report onsite until resolved
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced
Customer Service Representatives to support customers in the
Defined Benefits / Retirement Income Solutions department. This is an inbound customer service role focused on assisting customers with questions regarding
defined benefit annuities, Group Annuity Contracts, pensions, payments, and account information.
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, preferably with financial services experience, and the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities- Handle inbound customer calls regarding defined benefit annuities, pensions, and retirement income solutions.
- Explain policy details, payments, account status, and plan information clearly to customers.
- Process account maintenance requests, including direct deposit and address changes.
- Assist with beneficiary updates and death notifications.
- Provide support throughout the claims process.
- Navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy during customer interactions.
- Handle sensitive financial information professionally and confidentially.
- Use available technology and AI enhancements to support daily job functions.
- Maintain reliable attendance and adherence to assigned schedules.
Required Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–3+ years of customer service or call center experience.
- Financial services experience strongly preferred.
- 1–3+ years of experience using Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to explain complex information.
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems.
- Professional judgment when handling sensitive customer and financial information.
Remote Work Requirements- Quiet, secure, distraction-free workspace.
- High-speed internet connected directly to the router using an Ethernet cable.
- Hotspots are not permitted.
- Employees experiencing home-system issues may be required to report to the designated office until the issue is resolved.
