The George Mauricio Agency is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our clients. If you enjoy helping people, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced office environment, we'd love to meet you.


As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional customer experience while supporting our sales and service teams.

Salary Range: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

Answer incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.

Assist clients with policy service requests and answer general questions.

Schedule appointments for agents and producers.

Process payments and assist with billing inquiries.

Scan, upload, and organize client documents.

Maintain accurate customer records in agency systems.

Follow up with clients regarding requested documentation.

Assist with quoting and policy processing as experience and licensing permit.

Support agency marketing initiatives and community events.

Maintain an organized reception area and assist with general office operations.


Requirements

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous customer service, receptionist, administrative, retail, or office experience preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.

A California Property & Casualty license is a plus but not required.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in an insurance or financial services office.

Experience using CRM or agency management software.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to learn new software quickly.
