Position Summary
Client Service Company (NSC), the transfer agent for CLIENT Funds, is seeking dependable, customer-focused professionals to join its Client Services team. This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated to learn the financial services industry and develop expertise in mutual fund operations.
This is a phone-based customer service position requiring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. Associates will support registered representatives and shareholders by resolving account inquiries, processing transactions, and maintaining high-quality service standards. The role includes a comprehensive 2 3-month training program followed by ongoing mentoring and development.
Primary Responsibilities
Participate in a structured 2 3-month training program focused on mutual fund operations and client servicing.
Research account records and transaction history to resolve inquiries from registered representatives and shareholders.
Process account transactions, including redemptions, exchanges, and account maintenance updates.
Provide accurate, thorough, and professional responses regarding mutual fund accounts and investments.
Conduct quality reviews of transactions processed by fellow associates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Handle inbound customer calls and make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers as needed (no sales calls).
Collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve customer issues efficiently.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
