Part-Time Customer Service Representative
Location: Santa Barbara, CA Onsite
Pay Rate: $22.00 $25.20/hour
Schedule: Part-Time, 20 40 hours per week
Duration: 2-Year Contract
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to provide in-person, phone, and email support to customers. This position handles customer inquiries, processes payments, assists with account-related questions, and performs general clerical and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer service by answering inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
- Process customer payments, including cash, checks, and money orders.
- Use company software and systems to access customer accounts and payment information.
- Balance daily cash and check transactions with system totals and prepare funds for deposit.
- Answer general questions regarding payments, accounts, and company programs.
- Direct customers to the appropriate department for service requests, high-bill inquiries, and more complex account needs.
- Research and troubleshoot basic customer issues and provide appropriate follow-up.
- Secure collected funds and follow established cash-handling procedures.
- Complete general clerical, administrative, and monthly office tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0 2 years of customer service or related experience.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Comfortable handling cash and processing customer payments.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle customer and financial information.
- Ability to work 20 40 hours per week onsite in Santa Barbara, CA.
