    Position Summary

    Air Dimensions Inc (ADI), a subsidiary of Ingersoll-Rand, Inc since 2021. is seeking a motivated and detailed oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) for our Deerfield Beach, FL office. For more than 40 years, ADI has designed and manufactured specialized oil-free, contamination-free, and leak-free diaphragm gas pumps and compressors for industries like petrochemical, environmental, and power generation with high-precision, durable sampling pumps for hazardous and safe areas.

    The CSR is an integral part of a dynamic and highly communicative cross-functional team environment working together to build a premier customer experience. The CSR provides commercial and operational support to field sales teams, channel partners, and customers throughout the customer lifecycle. This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and internal functions, ensuring timely responses, accurate quotations and order processing, issue resolution, and exceptional customer experience. The position partners closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Customer Service to drive profitable growth while improving responsiveness and operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities

    The CSR may be asked to do any or all of the following:

    • Support field sales representatives, internal and external channel partners and direct customers throughout the sales process.
    • Prepare quotations, proposals, product recommendations, and commercial documentation.
    • Process customer orders, manage order status, and coordinate delivery expectations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, order status, returns, and warranty requests.
    • Acts as primary or backup to coordinate customer portals, ensuring accurate data entry, document uploads, and compliance with customer requirements.
    • Provide product application guidance and basic technical support, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
    • Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Shipping, Quality, Finance, and Product Management to resolve customer issues and ensure timely execution.
    • Manage CRM and ERP data, including opportunities, customer records, quotations, orders, and communications.
    • Coordinate customer portals, documentation, and compliance requirements.
    • Process returns, credits, freight claims, and other post-sales support activities.
    • Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and problem resolution via email, chat and phone.
    • Monitor open quotations and opportunities to identify growth opportunities and support revenue objectives.
    • Assist with reporting, sales analytics, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Answers phones with a live person & greets guest to ADI
    • Participate in cross-functional projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in inside sales, customer service, sales support, or commercial operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • Working knowledge of CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred).
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn technical products is preferred.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functional teams and build strong customer relationships.
    • Ability to speak English required
    • High school diploma (or equivalent) required. Completed vocational training or a higher degree in Business Administration (or a related field) preferred.
