Job Description

  • Customer Experience & Relationship Management
  • Lead day-to-day customer service operations while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction across key accounts
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, communicating demand changes, technical requirements, and business impacts to cross-functional teams
  • Take ownership of customer issues and drive timely resolution through collaboration with operations, sales, quality, and engineering team
  • Manage and mentor a team of customer service professionals
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching to ensure service excellence and adherence to company standards
  • Develop training initiatives and knowledge-sharing resources to support team growth
  • Maintain an organized workflow and establish priorities to meet customer expectations
  • Quoting, Pricing & Commercial Support
  • Prepare and manage quotations for custom-engineered products
  • Support pricing initiatives and customer communications related to commercial activity
  • Track quotation activity and follow up with customers regarding open opportunities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align pricing strategy with business objectives
  • Process Improvement & Reporting
  • Analyze customer service metrics and operational data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop reports and performance measurements to support management decision-making
  • Assist with system enhancements, process improvements, and customer service best practices
  • Support ERP/MRP and related business systems utilized within the organization
  • Work closely with sales, operations, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to support customer requirements
  • Help coordinate responses to changing customer demand and production priorities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Customer Service Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in customer service, customer support, inside sales, account management, or order management within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience resolving complex customer issues while maintaining professionalism and urgency
  • Knowledge of ERP, MRP, or similar business systems
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across operations, engineering, quality, and commercial teams
  • Experience working with custom manufacturing, engineered products, industrial components, or technical solutions is highly preferred
