    Description:

    CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Customer Service Coordinator I. This position provides high-volume customer service support through phone and email while coordinating with internal teams to resolve inquiries, manage orders, and ensure a positive customer experience.

    Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Tarboro, NC
    Pay Rate: Based on experience
    Work Hours: M-F 9:30am - 6:00pm

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Handle high-volume customer inquiries by phone and email.
    • Manage customer cases and orders using Salesforce.com.
    • Perform accurate order entry and order management.
    • Provide information regarding inventory, pricing, technical inquiries, and shipping.
    • Resolve routine customer issues independently and initiate corrective actions when needed.
    • Assist with customer complaints and follow up on resolutions.
    • Maintain accurate customer profiles, account information, payment terms, carrier, and freight details.
    • Coordinate with internal teams regarding account setup and customer requirements.
    • Ensure timely follow-up with customers and internal business partners.
    • Attend product and technical training as required.

    Required Qualifications

    • 2+ years of customer service or cross-functional commercial experience.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
    • Ability to manage high volumes of phone calls, cases, and order entry in a fast-paced environment.
    • Customer-focused and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and web-based applications.
    • Typing speed of approximately 50 WPM.
    • Ability to meet or exceed performance metrics.
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
    • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Salesforce.com case management experience.
    • PeopleSoft Order Management or comparable order management system experience.
    • Call center or high-volume customer service experience.
    • Life sciences industry experience.
