Appliance Marshall Repair is looking for a friendly and organized Customer Service Coordinator to be the welcoming voice and backbone of our growing team in Cary, IL. In this role, you'll connect customers with the repair solutions they need while keeping our technicians and operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound customer calls, emails, and inquiries regarding appliance repair services
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments between customers and field technicians
- Maintain accurate customer records and service histories in the scheduling system
- Follow up with customers on appointment confirmations, status updates, and completed repairs
- Process work orders, invoices, and basic billing transactions
- Handle customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-first mindset
- Support dispatch operations by communicating technician availability and routing updates
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in customer service, dispatch, or administrative coordination
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with scheduling software, CRM tools, or similar platforms
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor with a customer-first attitude
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Experience in home services, appliance repair, or trades industry is a plus

As an appliance repair technician, you’ll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you’ll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You’ll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you’ll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
