Responsibilities:
- Process returns and exchanges
- Run lottery machine
- Oversee front end; manage break schedule and assign additional duties to cashiers and baggers as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Provide fast, friendly, and accurate check-out services for our customers using computerized cash register systems.
- Assist in till and safe balancing.
- Keep the front-end area clean and well-stocked.
- Assist in general stocking and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register
- Accuracy and basic math skills are important, as is the ability to memorize product identification codes and weekly ad specials.
- Ability to effectively communicate, delegate and multitask
- Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds with assistance.
