    Job Overview

    Serves as main contact/liaison for customers within assigned territory.

    Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

    • Proficiently and accurately prepares, analyzes and issues detailed materials schedules: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
    • Follows up as required with all teams (Production, Procurement, Quality, Engineering …) to manage and expedite production to meet customer expectation.
    • Reviews and optimizes master data and parameter settings along supply chain (SAP)
    • Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels
    • Plans, develops, implements and evaluates processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit
    • Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries
    • Takes follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production
    • Develops and maintains good relationships with suppliers and ensure demand for materials is met and deliveries made on time
    • Monitors inventory levels against agreed target levels
    • Minimizes obsolete stock and ensures business is left with minimum liability
    • Monitors supply chain performance and drives improvements
    • Adheres to the safety and quality standards (goals and metrics) of the organization while working within a team environment.
    • Accepts increased responsibility and is accountable for his/her actions
    • Responds to multiple assignments in a timely and efficient manner
    • Overtime may be required, based on business need; regular attendance required.

    What your background should look like

    • Bachelor/master's degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent
    • Minimum 3 years of Production planning or Materials management in a plant/manufacturing environment
    • Proven track record of supply chain improvements and related performance improvement results
    • Working experience with supply chain planning systems and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
    • Experience in the Automotive Sector within a global organisation is an advantage
