LOCATION: Mendota, Illinois
COMPENSATION: $65K annual salary

COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client is a manufacturer of foam packaging and insulation products. The organization produces foam products used to protect goods during shipping.

ROLE SUMMARY: Provide customer service and estimation support for one or two major client accounts. Manage customer orders from entry through shipment and billing while serving as a primary contact for billing discrepancies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support customer service and estimation activities for major client accounts.
• Prepare estimates using costs, quotes, specifications, and margins.
• Manage orders from entry through shipment and billing.
• Serve as the primary contact for billing discrepancies.
• Coordinate customer needs with Sales, Production, and Operations.
• Learn and apply manufacturing capacity, runtimes, bills of materials, lead times, and product specifications.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with customers.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of customer service and/or estimating experience.
• Experience handling orders from entry through shipment and billing.
• Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with costs, quotes, specifications, and margins.
• Ability to coordinate across customers, Sales, Production, and Operations.
• Ability to learn manufacturing capacity, runtimes, bills of materials, lead times, and product specifications.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer proficiency and ERP system knowledge.
• Preferred: SAP experience, Spanish language skills, or manufacturing experience.
