Job Title: Customer Service Administrator
About the opportunity: The primary responsibility of this position will be to support the customer service team and other functional departments with various tasks related to servicing the customer.
Location: This is a hybrid position that reports onsite to our Wood Dale office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
What you will be doing:
Maintain electronic files including freight and inside delivery providers, win-wins, parts pricing, and any other information to support the order fulfillment activities.
Acquire and prepare information for submission of new account set-up in the Microsoft Dynamics AX system.
Work with the CSR team and Accounting to process Credit and Debit Memos.
Prepare and distribute daily sales booking report.
Process all customer rebates and energy rebates.
Enter invoices into customer portals.
Review open order reports and work with CSRs to release shipments to the warehouse.
Process RMAs and related activity.
Assist MOD shop with updating scheduling report and ensure all order confirmations are sent and entered.
Support Accounting with troubleshooting issues related to late payments/invoice issues.
Review open order report to ensure all new Rep changes are updated and sales order is current.
Gather customer information to add to customer profiles and data bases as part of customer account setup process.
What you need for success:
3-5 years of related experience in a customer service position.
Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience using an ERP system required; Dynamics AX preferred.
Experience working with customer portals (Ariba, COUPA, etc.).
The hiring range for this position is: $28-$30/hr plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
