Customer Relationship Specialist (CRS)
Full-time/Remote in Southeast US
Are You an Educator Ready to Make an Impact Beyond the Classroom?
Join the Instructional Empowerment Team and Combine Your Passion for Education with a Customer-Centered Mindset
Are you a current or former K–12 educator with a knack for connecting with people, solving problems, and staying organized? Are you looking to use your education experience in a new way by helping school leaders identify solutions that support their goals while building strong, responsive customer relationships?
At Instructional Empowerment (IE), we’re looking for a relationship-focused, results-oriented educator to join us as a Customer Relationship Specialist (CRS). In this role, you’ll work with school leaders who have expressed interest in IE and Marzano Evaluation Center (MEC) products and services, guiding them from initial conversation through quotes, purchase decisions, and ongoing support.
The CRS role combines customer relationship management, consultative conversations, transactional sales, and cross-functional coordination. Success comes from strong communication, attention to detail, initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to keep opportunities and customer needs moving forward.
Why This Role Could Be a Great Fit
✅Bring Your K–12 Perspective: Your experience working in a school setting can help you communicate confidently with school leaders and understand the language, priorities, and day-to-day realities of K–12 education.
✅Build Meaningful Customer Relationships: Serve as a consistent point of contact for school and district leaders, helping them navigate questions, next steps, and available IE and MEC solutions.
✅Help Customers Move from Interest to Action: Guide leads and existing customers through the purchase process by understanding their needs, recommending appropriate options, preparing quotes, and maintaining consistent follow-up.
✅Own Your Work and Keep Things Moving: Manage customer communication, follow-up, opportunities, and next steps with a high level of organization, initiative, and attention to detail while contributing to team and revenue goals.
