Job Title: Customer Relations Management Representative

Location: PT Tech by Timken - Wadsworth, OH (on-site)

Employment type: Full-time, Exempt (salary)

Pay: Starting pay based on experience and education level; range starts at $55,000

Position Summary:

Provide a range of customer service functions according to customer requests using technical product knowledge. Duties consist of answering sales calls and responding to emails, text, and customer portals to assist customers in ordering products. Quote pricing and delivery on products; pricing and delivery on special order items. Understand customer requests for technical and/or account status information. Know where to look for and find that information and relay it back to the customer in a timely and professional manner. Receive general direction from the Sales Support Manager; however, required to work on an independent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as a representative of the Company and must display courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with customers and coworkers. Must be able to develop friendly relationships with customers over a period of time.
• Quote pricing and delivery for customers via phone, fax and e-mail.
• Facilitate customer orders and confirm delivery dates with Manufacturing or appropriate Distribution center.
• Maintain communication with the Sales Support Manager to confirm delivery and price on any special order items.
• Ensure adequate stock is available when promising delivery dates, and if delivery cannot be met, the Rep must contact the customer directly to inform them of the situation.
• Coordinate logistical flow of items throughout company to fulfill customer requirements. This is accomplished with a high level of personal communication.
• Account ownership from launch through complete sales cycle of determined customers.
• Liaison for account to include full management of customer portals.
• Self-starter, with ability to problem solve and present solutions for continuous improvement of customer experience.
• Strong SAP experience.
• Process mapping reviews and improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates in a related field
• Experience in SAP

This position may require access to United States export controlled technical data ("CTD") and hardware under the Departments of US State (ITAR) and/or Commerce (EAR).
