Essential Personnel is seeking a dedicated Customer Program Specialist for a leading contract manufacturing company in Grand Island, NE! In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, overseeing order entry, delivery schedules, and cross-departmental coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements for Customer Program Specialist:
5+ years of customer program experience in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to work on the shop floor alongside manufacturing operations
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; ERP experience (Syteline) preferred
Proven ability to de-escalate issues and communicate effectively under pressure
Responsibilities for Customer Program Specialist:
Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries regarding orders, pricing, and schedules
Manage purchase orders, verify quantities, and proactively communicate delays
Collaborate with planning, engineering, purchasing, and production teams
Investigate shipment discrepancies, coordinate corrective actions, and resolve complaints
Maintain accurate customer records and administrative reports in Syteline (ERP)
