A Medical Device company is seeking a dependable, positive, and eager-to-learn individual to join our team in a temporary or temporary to hire Customer Care & Shipping Assistant role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys staying busy, learning new skills, and supporting a collaborative team.
No prior shipping experience is required—we are looking for someone with a great attitude, reliability, and a willingness to grow.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and ship outgoing orders accurately and efficiently
- Open and organize incoming shipments and materials
- Answer incoming phone calls and take messages for the department
- Assist with inventory-related tasks as needed
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the team
- Maintain an organized and professional work area
- Learn new processes and assist wherever needed
Requirements:
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Excellent work ethic and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
- Previous inventory or shipping experience is helpful but not required
- Basic Accounts Receivable (AR) experience is a plus, but not required
