    New Mexico Piñon Coffee | Sales & Marketing | Hourly, Non-Exempt
    Are you a people person looking for a friendly, steady work environment where you can stay active, connect with customers, and take pride in making their day a little better?
    New Mexico Piñon Coffee is looking for a dependable Customer Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our Roastery Shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, likes having a consistent routine, and wants a role where reliability, kindness, and good customer service matter.
    You’ll take care of the day-to-day Roastery Shop experience, helping customers find their favorite coffees and gifts, keeping the shop organized and inviting, and making sure everyone who visits feels welcome. You’ll also help customers over the phone and by email with questions and orders.
    What You’ll Do
    • Welcome customers to our Roastery Shop and help them find coffee, gifts, and other products.
    • Handle daily shop sales, including opening, closing, purchases, and returns.
    • Get to know our customers and provide friendly, personal service.
    • Keep the shop clean, organized, stocked, and ready for customers.
    • Help with basic inventory, ordering, and product rotation.
    • Answer incoming phone calls and emails and help customers with questions and orders.
    • Assist with customer concerns and connect customers with the appropriate team member when needed.
    • Occasionally help the Sales & Marketing team with simple projects and customer-related tasks.
    What We’re Looking For
    You don't need to be a coffee expert, we'll teach you what you need to know. We're looking for someone who:
    • Genuinely enjoys talking with and helping people.
    • Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in being someone others can count on.
    • Is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of their daily responsibilities.
    • Is organized and pays attention to the little things that make a shop feel welcoming.
    • Communicates clearly and treats customers with patience and kindness.
    • Is comfortable learning basic point-of-sale, email, and office systems.
    • Has previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or office experience; helpful, but not required.
    This position includes a comfortable mix of customer interaction, desk work, and light activity throughout the day. You must be able to lift or move items up to 30 pounds.
