About Our Client:
Addison Group is hiring for our client, a growing company in the logistics industry. They are looking for a responsible and reliable Customer Account Specialist to join their team and manage customer orders, provide support, and ensure smooth communication with internal teams.
Job Description:
The Customer Account Specialist will be responsible for managing orders, answering customer inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to address any issues related to special orders, backorders, and shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail and effective communication, with opportunities to learn and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and online chat
- Accurately document all customer interactions and actions taken
- Process orders promptly and with high accuracy
- Address customer inquiries related to order status, pricing, availability, returns, and backorders
- Work with internal teams to resolve issues with special orders, rush shipments, and discrepancies
- Collaborate with clients for order allocation and backorder release
- Meet departmental and individual goals, including attendance, schedule adherence, and quality metrics
- Escalate complex issues to management when needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably with order entry and logistics
- Experience with order tracking systems (warehouse management system experience is a plus)
- Strong data entry and order entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture
- Willingness to learn and assist others
