Customer Account Specialist 
Location: Atlanta, GA / Local Candidates Only
Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Role Summary
The Intersect Group is partnering with a large enterprise organization to identify a detail oriented professional to support customer and rate setup across multiple financial and operational systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate customer, product, and rate data while working closely with Accounting, Finance, Business Development, and Operations teams. The position supports high volume activity and contributes directly to operational accuracy and financial compliance.

The individual in this role will manage customer onboarding, rate maintenance, and ongoing data integrity across systems including CRM and ERP platforms. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform customer setup, rate setup, and ongoing maintenance in Salesforce CRM, SAP, third party billing systems, and related platforms
• Maintain accurate and current customer, product, and rate information across all financial and operational systems
• Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Business Development, and Operations to support new customers and changes to existing accounts
• Ensure all customer and rate data complies with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and internal controls
• Provide high volume rate maintenance while meeting service level expectations
• Monitor workflow and escalate issues or delays to management when appropriate
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities
• Track personal productivity to ensure team service levels are consistently met

Key Requirements
• Three or more years of experience in customer service, accounting, finance, or financial operations
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with CRM and ERP systems such as Salesforce and SAP
• Exposure to TMS, WMS, AS400, or similar operational systems preferred
• Strong data entry, typing accuracy, and attention to detail
• Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and mathematical accuracy
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in a matrixed environment
