Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract job with a client in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Java Full Stack Development, Angular, and Application Architecture Design, along with a proven ability to develop and support scalable enterprise applications.
Rate Range: $63/hour to $66/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Custom Software Engineer job responsibilities include:
Lead full-stack application development using Java, Angular, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications while ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for development teams across application design, implementation, and deployment activities.
Design and enhance APIs, backend services, and integration frameworks to support business-critical applications.
Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to create technical designs, effort estimates, and implementation plans.
Drive engineering best practices including clean code standards, modular architecture, code reviews, and test-driven development.
Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve defects to improve overall solution quality.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
Strong expertise in: Java Development, Full Stack Engineering, Application Architecture Design, REST API Development, Enterprise Application Development, Software Design Patterns
Strong experience with: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Front-End Development, Backend Service Architecture
Experience working in Agile software development environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Angular advanced features and RxJS reactive programming.
Knowledge of enterprise service frameworks and large-scale distributed systems.
Experience supporting cloud-native applications and modern DevOps practices.
Experience creating technical design documentation and implementation roadmaps.
Prior experience supporting customer-facing enterprise software solutions.

Pay Details: $63.00 to $66.00 per hour
