Job Description

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices and a proven ability to design, build, and scale performant services that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and enhance custom software components across systems and applications.
• Apply modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborate with and guide the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Analyze complex problems and develop solutions that improve performance and scalability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing development processes and quality standards.
• Coordinate regular sync ups with offshore team members to co-own and drive deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Ability to design and implement robust, scalable services and APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with collaborative teamwork.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

Preferred Skills:

• Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
• Team lead experience with cross-team collaboration.
• Azure cloud services and deployment practices.
