Akkodis is seeking a Custom Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Madison, WI (Remote). The ideal candidate will develop and enhance custom software applications by designing, coding, and implementing scalable solutions using modern frameworks and agile methodologies.
Rate Range: $60/Hour to $67/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Custom Software Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and enhance custom software applications using Java, Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL, and AWS technologies.
Build scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business requirements and support enterprise applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define technical solutions and ensure successful project delivery.
Analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot system challenges, and implement innovative solutions to improve performance and reliability.
Provide technical leadership, guide team members, and contribute to key architectural and development decisions.
Support agile development practices, participate in code reviews, and drive continuous improvement in development processes and quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in Java, Oracle PL/SQL, AWS, and Spring Boot development.
Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications using modern software development frameworks.
Proven ability to work in Agile environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to technical and architectural decisions.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $67.00 per hour
