Location: Minnesota (Remote eligible)

Duration: Contract - 7 months

Pay Range: $50/hr - $52.2/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and React and a proven ability to deliver scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices in a client-facing, Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Spring Boot.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Write clean, scalable, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, and React.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ability to deliver maintainable, testable code and support CI/CD.
• 7+ years in relevant software engineering roles.
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent degree.

Preferred Skills:

• Good communication.

Role Details & Additional Information:

• Candidates may work remotely. Work location listed as Minnesota.
• No visa restrictions.
• No vaccination mandate.
• No travel or expenses covered by the client.
• Budgeted bill rate: $71. Limited flexibility.
• Industry experience required due to client-facing responsibilities, daily collaboration with product and engineering teams, and delivery of technical solutions and feasibility analysis. Resource will work with the product team and engineering team.
